Guest Blog- Elizabeth Black Interviews Tita, the Heroine of “Trouble In Thigh High Boots”

October 24  |  Book Publications, eBooks  |   Kay Jaybee

Today I have the wonderful Elizabeth Black dropping by to interview the heroine of her fabulous book, “Trouble In Thigh High Boots.” This is fun!! Over to you Elizabeth…

Tita is my heroine in my new novella “Trouble In Thigh High Boots”, which is an erotic retelling of the fairy tale Puss In Boots. Tita is Puss. She has agreed to be interviewed today. She is a shapeshifter who takes the form of a cat and shifts to human female form. Today, she is my guest and she is taking her human form.

Elizabeth Black: Thank you for being here today, Tita.

Tita: (sipping a cup of warm cream) You’re welcome, and thank you for having me. Feel free to ask me anything you like. No topic is off limits. I’m not easily offended so take your best shot.

EB: I just might do exactly that. Tita is a lovely name.

Tita: Thank you. It’s short for “Gatita”, which is Spanish for “female kitten”. It’s not my real name, though.

EB: What’s your real name?

Tita: (grinning) I only tell that to the person I love.

EB: (grinning back) And who is that?

Tita: (winking) You’ll have to read “Trouble In Thigh High Boots” to find out. I will say that I view love in a different way. I can love more than one person at once although in the long run I will be faithful to only one.  By the end of the book, you’ll learn who that person is.

EB: You say “person” instead of “man” or “woman”. What is your sexual orientation, if you don’t mind my asking?

Tita: I don’t mind at all. I’m bisexual, although I lean more towards preferring men than women. As far as I’m concerned, being bisexual allows me to love more people. It also gets me rejected by twice as many people, although I’m not often rejected. I spend a lot of time searching for love and excitement, which is only natural since I’m a cat. When I make a commitment to one person I’m faithful.

EB: Tell me more about your views on love.

Tita: Love is all around us. We just have to recognize it and seize it when it’s within our grasp. I have different levels of intimacy with different people. I’m closest to a man and woman I’ve known for a very long time. We go way back. There’s also my true love who thankfully sees love in the same way I do. We have a very open and honest relationship. The more the merrier, I say.

EB: Do you see lovemaking as an art?

Tita: In some ways I do. The human body is like a finely tuned watch. All the parts work together to create a wondrous whole. I know exactly how to tease my partner to turn him or her into an erotic puddle of goo.

EB: How are you different from a human lover, since you are shapeshifter.

Tita: I do retain some of my cat qualities when I shift, which makes for very exciting lovemaking. For instance, my tongue never becomes completely smooth after I shift. It’s still a bit rough like a cat’s but rough in a pleasant way. Imagine that kind of light texture on your most sensitive parts of your body, and you’ll see why I’m quite the lover.

EB: You’re quite an impressive sight to see. You’re nearly six feet tall and your flame colored hair is impressive. Do you intimidate people?

Tita: (laughing and tossing her long red hair) I suppose I do, but I don’t use my physique to influence my power over people, although it definitely has an effect. I use my cunning. I’m a cat, after all. (She stretches her legs and arches her back to drive the point home.) For instance, when it comes to Herp the ogre, I played on his weaknesses to get the outcome I needed. He abused the local farmers for a very long time, and I’d had enough of it. He nearly impoverished two of my closest friends, Georgy and his wife, Lyubov. They are very special friends, if you get my meaning. (She grins) I know what makes people tick so I can give them what they need.

EB: One of those people is your Master, Dylan. Or should I say, the Marquis of Carabas!

Tita: Dylan was suffering so much I had to do something to help him. He was starving and couldn’t bring in enough money as a cobbler, even though is leatherwork was incredible.

EB: But he tried to drown you.

Tita: Yes he did but I don’t blame him. When I first met him I was in cat form and he had no idea what I really was. He tried to drown me in a lake behind his home when he first inherited me. I guess he wanted the mule his brother Zane got. When I spoke to him for the first time he was so startled he dropped me in the water. I didn’t like that. I don’t like getting wet. So I made a deal with him. I certainly wasn’t going to spend my life living from hand to mouth and I didn’t want that for Dylan either. So I set my plan in motion to make both of us comfortable for the rest of our lives.

EB: And what plan was that?

Tita (grinning): Read the book. There’s far too much to tell in one interview.

EB: You mentioned Dylan’s brother, Zane. What’s he like?

Tita: (spitting on the ground) He’s horrid. Vicious and arrogant. And he has far too much pride and greed for his own good. We don’t exactly see eye to eye. I deal with him quite effectively. He wanted me for his own but I wouldn’t have any part of him.

EB: He liked the way you dressed.

Tita: (laughing) Most people do. I do like to make an entrance, and my leather corset and thigh high boots make quite the impression. I’m no shrinking violet and my attire makes that very clear. I know what I want and I pursue it until I get it. More often than not, I succeed. (stretching her legs and flexing her feet) How do you liked these boots? Dylan made them.

EB: They’re beautiful. Very sexy, too.

Tita: That’s what I like best about them. Plus they have stiletto heels so they make me even taller than six feet. I like my height.

EB: What are your plans for the future?

Tita: To live life to the fullest, enjoy myself, and spend time with those I love. And to drink lots of cream. (She sips cream from her cup.)

EB: That’s a fabulous way to live. Thank you for being here with me today, Tita. I wish you the best in your life and I wish the best for those important to you.

Tita: Thank you. It was a pleasure being here today.

EB: Buy “Trouble In Thigh High Boots” to learn more about Tita and how she overcomes some huge hurdles to get what she wants out of life. She also is very loyal to those she loves. You’ll see that in how she treats her Master Dylan, otherwise known as the Marquis of Carabas. Information about the book is below:

Tita is a Puss In Boots with a little something extra. Being a magical creature, she shifts from a kitty into the form of an alluring, ginger-haired woman when the situation demands it. And what a situation she finds herself in! Her new master Dylan is a poor man who needs a boost in the world. Sly Tita uses her seductive wiles to pass him off to the villagers and the king as the Marquis of Carabas in order to help both of them gain their fortunes. Her plan is not without its problems. Dylan’s malicious brother, Zane, lusts after Tita, and he wants her all to himself, but she refuses to succumb to his treachery. Being a cat first and foremost, she purrs in the arms of her many lovers but her heart belongs to only one man – the king. She hopes that in ensuring Dylan his lofty place in the world the king finds a place in his heart for her. Her life becomes an erotic adventure in reaching her goals.

Her stiletto heels clicked on the hardwood floor, attracting the king’s attention. When he turned toward her, her heart nearly stopped at the unabashed thrilled look on his face when he set eyes on her. She sniffed the air and smelled castile soap and fragrant oil of rosemary. If I didn’t know better, I’d think he expected me. Maybe his knights told him I was on my way.

“Ah, cat, you have returned! How delightful!” The king’s jolly laugh boomed around the high-ceilinged room. “My sister told me she saw you on the road. Your rabbits were absolutely delicious. I saved a morsel in case you returned.”

She smiled and batted her lashes at him. Stop it! You’re acting like a peckish school girl with a bad crush! “You are too kind, Your Highness. Before I accept your gracious offer of food, might I offer you another present from the Marquis of Carabas?”

Another present? Your Marquis is quite impressive. First, the fattest rabbits I’ve seen in these parts in a long time, and now more gifts! Yes, please, do show me what you have to offer.”

Oh, I’ll show you much more than you expect, sire. She lifted her knapsack and prepared to open it, but hesitated. The king looked dejected.

“What’s wrong?”

“I want this gift to be a special surprise for you, sire, but I can’t have you looking at me when I give it to you.”

“Well, what shall we do then?”

“I had an idea.” She opened the knapsack a tiny bit, reached inside, and pulled out a silk blindfold. “How about we play a game?”

He clapped his hands. “I love games! Cat, you are quite the adventuress!”

Little do you know… “I do my best, Your Highness.” She held the blindfold between her claws. “May I approach you and slip this over your eyes, sire?”

“Of course you may.”

“You trust me?”

“Why shouldn’t I?”

“How do you know I won’t shield your eyes and then slit your throat?”

“Because there’s something special about you, cat. I can’t put my finger on it, but you are very intriguing. I’m willing to trust you with my life.”

Her heart melted at his words, and she took great pride in feeling his affection even though he had not yet seen her in her human form. What would he think of her once he saw her long legs, full breasts, and thick tawny hair? Would he ravish her when he felt the warmth from her heart and tasted the sweetness of her breath? How would he react to the tenderness she longed to give him?

When would he remember her, if he remembered her at all? She had never spoken to him or shifted in front of him when she lived in the castle. Her heart ached with love and memories of his tender caresses and playful roughhousing. If only he recalled her!

She walked to him as he sat in his favorite chair, and then she leapt onto his lap. He ran his fingers through her long fur without thinking twice about it, as many humans did when accosted by a cat, although certainly not most. She had met her share of men and women who beat her and threw pans of water at her. Zane’s face flashed into her mind. When would she see him again? Tita knew he would make another appearance soon, aware of his cruelty and greed. She shook her head and quickly shoved his memory away. She would not allow him room in her head to ruin her time with the king.

Thankfully, her king was not cruel. She purred with pleasure as he scratched her behind her ears. Ooooh, he found my most sensitive sweet spot! I can’t stand it! Let me at him! In a fit of arousal, she rubbed her mouth against his hand, leaving her scent on his skin.

She stared into his deep blue eyes and paused before lifting her blindfold. I wonder if he can see into my soul when he gazes into my eyes. One look will show him a world he’s never before seen. She gazed at him, wishing he could read her mind, to sense the love she felt for him.

“You have lovely eyes, cat. The color of a deep sea – quiet on the surface, but I suspect there is quite a bit of turmoil in those depths.” He ran one hand over her back, stroking her length until she arched in response. “Your eyes are very human. Long-lashed and expressive. Are you enchanted?”

“In a way, sire, yes I am. But I’m not cursed. I can give you what you need.”

“And what might that be?”

“Let me show you.” She slipped the blindfold over his eyes and waited for him to sit back and relax. When his breathing eased, she curled into his lap, placing both paws on his shoulders. “Don’t be afraid. And whatever you do, don’t remove the blindfold. I’m about to give you my surprise.”

As her body lengthened and stretched, she stroked his hair. Paws elongated into palms and fingers and she scratched his scalp with her long nails. He moaned and curled his head into her embrace, but as her furry body grew into curvy feminine form, he backed away with a gasp of alarm.

“Please don’t be afraid,” she whispered in a deep, mellow voice that sang in his ear. “I won’t hurt you.” She guided his hands from his sides to her bare hips. “Touch me. Feel me.”

Many thanks Elizabeth- that was delicious!!
