Latest Anthology News and Other Stories…

June 2  |  Book Publications, eBooks, News  |   Kay Jaybee

You may have noticed a predominance of guest blogs on my website lately- this is for two reasons-

1. I love welcoming people to my site (If you are a writer/artist/publisher within the erotica field, and wish to guest on my blog, feel free to drop me a line). It is so nice to read all about other peoples experiences and inspirations, not to mention their latest publications.

2. I have been up to my blue eyes in writing my latest novel for the lovely Kojo Black at Sweetmeats Press. This new, erotic artist orientated, S&M novel is the longest piece I have ever penned, and has taken up every (happy) hour of my waking day for months! However,  as I am now at the editing stage, I am now able to pop up for air. So I thought it was high time I brought you up to date with my latest publications!

With the arrival of June, three of my works slip there way into the (semi) unsuspecting world.

First of all, I am delighted to have my short romantic erotic story Finger Music featured in Xcite’s latest e-publications of the same name.  Available from 7th June, Finger Music, features 5 hot tales from 5 different authors.

Here’s the blurb of my jazz music tale to tempt you-

The effect of the vibrations from the deep jazz music coming from the double bass ran across the wooden floor, through the soles of Sally’s shoes, and up to her crotch.

The early arrival of one part of the jazz trio due to play at the restaurant where Sally works, transfixes her. The dance of his fingertips over the fret of his instrument wrecks havoc with the waitress’s imagination, as she mentally replaces her body with the expertly plucked double bass.

When the musician asks Sally if she would like to try and play, she soon learns how it feels to create beautiful finger music…

No sooner will you all have recovered from this helping of musical erotica, than The Secret Library volume, Hungarian Rhapsody, which features my novella A Sticky Situation, will hit the bookshelves.

If there is a paving stone to trip over, or a drink to knock over, then Sally Briers will trip over it or spill it. Yet somehow Sally is the successful face of marketing for a major pharmaceutical company; much to the disbelief of her new boss, Cameron James.

Forced to work together on a week-long conference in anOxfordhotel, Sally is dreading spending so much time with arrogant new boy Cameron, whose presence somehow makes her even clumsier than usual.

Cameron, on the other hand, just hopes he’ll be able to stay professional, and keep his irrational desire to lick up all the accidentally split food and drink that is permanently to be found down Sally’s temptingly curvy body, all to himself.

These beautifully velvet covered books are discreet and truly lovely to hold let alone read. However, it you can’t wait until 14th June to read my kinky romance (yes, romance again! what is happening to me!!!), then the stand alone e-book version of A Sticky Situation is out now. (I apologise for the uninspiring cover- please don’t let it put you off!!)

Last, and by no means least, is the fortcoming publication of my novel, The Perfect Submissive in paperback form. I am still happily reeling from how well this novel has been received.

Thanks to all of you who purchased the e-book version. Now those of you who prefer the feel of a ‘real’ book, have the oppurtunity to see just how kinky I can make my pen behave! This story, unlike those mentioned above, is not a romance- although that doesn’t mean the characters lack feeling- it isn’t for the faint hearted however! This is BDSM and a half.

You can read the blurb, reviews, and get all the details for The Perfect Submissive launch evening on 7th July, by following this link.

I’d better leave you now and get back to that editing- but I’ll be back soon with more novel news……..

Thanks for popping by xx
