As my blog post, ‘Bad Year?’ explained back in July, 2011 did not start out by being the kindest of years. Things however, are on the up!
I am delighted to say, that I have had a new novella accepted for publication by the gorgeous gals at Oysters and Chocolate– who are expanding their erotica empire into the world of e-book publication.
An adaptation and expansion of my (dare I say) popular ‘Going Against Type’ serial; this kinky erotic, mildly S&M novella includes new escapades, and gives a deeper insight into the adventures of Jo, and her secretive DVD delivery man…
Edits willing, this tale will be ready for consumption by mid-December; but rest assured, I will be shouting loud about this one once I have covers and confirmed release dates to share with you.
As well as being part of Oysters and Chocolates continuing plan for world domination; I am very excited to be part of Xcite’s new set of novella’s, which will be published under the blanket series title of Secret Library. I can’t give too much away yet- but to say that I am over the moon to be part of yet another new venture is putting it mildly. My particular contribution is already written- and if you like a mouthful of food with your sexual fantasies, then it might be just the tale for you!
While I’m showing off, I may as well go the whole hog and tell you about a couple of my stories that feature in new anthologies that have (or are about to), hit the shelves. Xcite’s anthology’s Power Play and Explicit Encounters tell of a very naughty MFF threesome, and a slice of hot extra marital action respectively.
My story, ‘After the Massage’ in Cleis’s Irresistible explains how a massage leads to the realisation of a threesome fantasy in the back of a van, and in the forthcoming Best Women’s Erotica 2012, the title of my story ‘Bad’ says it all!!! Finally, I have a story, The Circus’, in the illustrated anthology Immoral Views, which will be published by Sweetmeats Press at the end of this month- more details on that one very soon!!
So, as you can see, my luck has improved as 2011 races towards Winter, (never under estimate the power of luck in this writing game!), and alongside all these lovely publications- or perhaps because of them- I was recently amongst a number of erotica authors invited by leading photo journalist, David Woolfall, to have my picture taken for a forthcoming article on British Female Erotica Writers.
It was tremendous fun taking part in the photo shoot- another new experience which my writing career has sent my way. I will share more details with you, and let you know details of the articles date and place of publication as soon as I have them. In the meantime, I’ll leave you with a couple of the photographs David took of me while I was last in London. Thanks again David!!
