Sex Toy Review: Hands Free Dildo Fun

To my delight I was recently approached by Carvaka to review a few of their products. How could a girl refuse?

Today I am reviewing  the Aphrodisia 8 Inch Carved Dildo

So- first things first – here’s the official blurb…

The 8 Inch Carved Dildo is a bigger version of the 7 Inch Carved Dildo (also available from Carvaka). It features the same fantastic realistic design but has been moved up a size for greater and deeper penetration! The shaft is covered in bulging veins and has a large glans head. It has an insertable length of 6.5 inches and a girth of 5.8 inches at its widest point. The base features a very strong suction cup which you can attach to walls or tables for some fun hands-free play!

My Review

At 8.8 inches in  length (5.5 of which are insertable), and 5.6 inches wide, this is one hefty beast. The jelly rubber shaft is solid , and feels nice in the hands. However, it is the suction cap on the end of the dido that makes this sex toy such a winner.

Best adhered to flat areas- although it does well on the side of the bath for time- the suction feature allows the user to employ their hands elsewhere, for additional masturbation fun.

Soft, yet hard, (if that makes sense!), it is flexible and very comfortable and satisfying to use. (Obviously if you are allergic to rubber/jelly rubber this is not the toy for you). It is also wide! Lots of lube/ finger play build up required if you are of the smaller persuasion girls and boys.

Although I can’t speak from experience on this additional point- I can imagine that it would be a brilliant toy when employed by a couple as well…

The price, only £10.99, makes this dildo a bargain- even if you don’t utilises the suction facility. (The suction cap end makes a very good ‘holding area’ for personal thrusting! You can buy this solid mass of fun here-https://carvakasextoys.co.uk/8-inch-carved-dildo.html

You can see more details- and a sort YouTube video here.

Happy playing everyone,

Kay xx

Sex Toy Review: Vibe-O-Matic

To my delight I was recently approached by Carvaka to review a few of their products. How could a girl refuse?

I’m kicking off with a review of the Vibe-O-Matic– 10 Function Waterproof Bunny Rabbit Vibrator.

So- first things first. Yes, the name does sound like something out of a Looney Tunes cartoon – that however, is where the similarity with Bugs Bunny and crew end.

Secondly- yes, it is very very very pink. You will not lose this on a dark night!

So- here’s the official blurbA variation on the Honey Bunny 10 Function Rabbit Vibrator, the Vibe-O-Matic 10 Function Waterproof Bunny Rabbit Vibrator boasts the same delightful 10 vibration settings, bright colour and powerful vibrations except with a beautiful curved shaft allowing for some great g-spot stimulation. Also, let’s not forget that cute little bunny rabbit with extra long ears to deliver those vibrations straight to your clitoris! Measuring 4.25 inches of insertable length and 3.25 inches in girth and being 100% waterproof and whisper quiet, why not try this rabbit out in the bath or shower! Available in pink, this rabbit will certainly brighten up your collection and escalate your pleasure!

 ***

Kay’s review-

At only £12.99 this really is something of a bargain.

It feels lovely in the hands. Smooth and soft, despite being extremely sturdy. It feels good against the skin even when it isn’t on.

The 10 different vibration settings are pretty fierce, making it a great tool if you want a mega quickie. If you want things to last a little longer, then go easy on the scale up button pressing. Even the lowest speed is powerful stuff.

There is as much pleasure to be found from teasing the shaft over and around the erogenous zones (all of them!) than from insertion.

The bunny ears extra long ears will be a blessing for some and a pain for others. For me they were simply too long and they got a bit irritating. However, we are all different shapes and sizes, and I have no problem in imaging that for others those cute ears would provide joy.

The length and girth of this bunny are spot on, and its waterproof function means that bath time is certainly less of a chore!

In summary – this is a great, reasonably priced, toy for a moment’s stolen pleasure. It is also a wonderful toy to hand over to your partner. Its power as a teaser for pleasures yet to come when used as a couple – or more –bring things toy into its own.

You can check out the Vibe-O-Matic on the Carvaka web site. Don’t miss the You Tube clip!- https://carvakasextoys.co.uk/vibe-o-matic-10-function-waterproof-bunny-rabbit-vibrator.html

I’ll be back soon with another review!

Happy playing,

Sex Toy Review: Sportsheets Neck and Wrist Restraint

August 23  |  BDSM, News, Reviews  |   Kay Jaybee

As followers of this blog will know, I rarely do reviews for books these days.  And you are even less likely to find a sex toy review on this site – alas, time is just so short these days!

Bondage Bunnies black

However, the lovely people at Bondage Bunnies were recently kind enough to send me an item to test for them. The sort of item that would feel very at home amongst Mrs Peters collection on the fifth floor of the Fables Hotel in The Perfect Submissive Trilogy!

20160823_114753

Quite simply, the Sportsheets Neck and Wrist Restraint is a must in the tool kit of any BDSM practitioner. It is the perfect next step for anyone who enjoys using handcuffs, but wants to ‘up the game.’

Beautifully crafted to give numerous different options within one easy to use product, this item will hold your Sub so that he, or she, is restrained against themselves, or in conjunction to any object you see fit.

Attached to the body via a comfortable, easily adjustable, neck strap, the Neck and Wrist Restraint is made from a strong strip of heavy duty webbing (20 inches in length), with 9 D rings against its side; onto which you can clip anything you wish. (A lead with which to take your Sub for a walk  would be my personal first item of choice- but hey, I’m a control freak…)

With a pair of adjustable neoprene cuffs, that can be attached to any of the D-rings, as part of the package, you can bind your partner at the wrists or the ankles. As the cuffs are comfortable, and can fit most widths of wrists and ankles, then problems of the restraint being too big or small are non-existent. (And of course, you can always make an additional purchase, and add an extra pair of cuffs via the D rings, and secure both wrists and ankles at the same time)

20160823_114905

Fixed at the neck and wrists using Velcro, the material is wonderfully soft. It should not leave abrasive marks against the skin, even after long term use..

This is not an easy restraint for anyone to escape from unaided (although in the interests of safety it is not impossible). But then, why would you want to escape when so much fun and sexual gratification awaits you?

If you enjoy testing your own sexual boundaries, or those of your partner- if you want to discover just how far you are both willing to push yourselves into the arena of submissive and dominator, then this is precisely the item you’ve been looking for.

I may just have to tell Mrs Peters and Miss Sarah about this restraint…just in case they haven’t purchased it yet…

If you want to look at more restraints as well as this one- check out https://www.bondagebunnies.co.uk/collections/bondage-gear/restraints/

Happy experimenting,

WOW!! Outstanding First Review for Knowing Her Place!!

May 25  |  eBooks, News, Reviews  |   Kay Jaybee

I have to admit, that I was somewhat nervous about the response I’d get from readers who have been patiently waiting for Knowing Her Place, the third and final instalment of The Perfect Submissive Trilogy.

KHP- new

Book One, The Perfect Submissive, and Book Two, The Retreat -which introduced Miss Jess Sanders to a submissive life, and then tested her ability to sustain it- have been flatteringly well received, and I desperately didn’t want to disappoint anyone with the stories conclusion.

Just before Knowing Her Place was put out on general release, I asked the wonderful Modesty Ablaze (who I knew had enjoyed the previous books in the trilogy- and who I knew I could trust to be honest in her review), if she would like to read it- and if she liked it, write a quote for the books cover.

These sorts of request are always a gamble- it can never be guaranteed that the person asked will like a single word of what you’ve written! To say I really anxious as I waited for Modesty’s verdict is an understatement- it seems I need not have worried…

Knowing Her Place- a review

The Thrill is in the Detail by Modesty Ablaze

You must know the feeling . . . quite by some unexpected twist of fate you’ve discovered a wonderful album by a completely new (to you) musician. Or perhaps a debut movie by an unheard of actor (or actress). Or maybe a book by an author you’ve never come across before. And the surprise and enjoyment of your discovery leaves you craving for more . . . that next album, that next movie, that next book . . .

. . . only to find when it arrives in your excitedly expectant hands that your sense of anticipation as you begin to listen, watch or read, is replaced instead by a flat feeling of disappointment and let-down.

Such was my worry as I shakingly began to renew my acquaintance with Jess Sanders in “Knowing Her Place” the third book in Kay Jaybee’s “The Perfect Submissive” trilogy.

“The Perfect Submissive” had not only been my introduction to Ms Jaybee’s writing, but had quite simply been the first book I’d ever read that I just didn’t want to put down until I’d finished. Of course I physically had to stop reading from time-to-time (from excited exhaustion!), but just couldn’t wait to resume at the earliest possible moment.

The words just jumped from the page with almost electrical emotion and arousal, perfectly expressing all those enthralling and erotically exciting scenarios that I’m sure we all desire in our moments of passion.

For me that is the beauty and power of words, more than any other medium, that they inspire and stimulate your imagination and bring them into your world . . . and yours into theirs.

That was the effect of “The Perfect Submissive” and Jess’s story. I shared her journey, her emotions and her discoveries . . .
. . . and I am thrilled (in so many ways!!!) to be able to say that far from a disappointment or let-down, “Knowing Her Place” builds on the excitement and the anticipation of The Fables of “The Perfect Submissive” and the Fairtasia of “The Retreat” to a tumultuously tingling and erotically explosive Finale.

Jess’s journey in “Knowing Her Place” begins with her departure in Scotland from “The Retreat” and continues with five erotically-charged stopovers throughout England towards her final destination. And though the different situations, and different company, she finds herself in all have that (often unstated) reference back to her previous adventures, such is the descriptive beauty and power of “Knowing Her Place” that it stands as a wonderfully exciting and erotic journey in its own right (or write, so-to-speak!)

And that beauty and power is due to the way every sentence seems to balance so wonderfully the ability to describe and yet ask one to imagine the story unfolding before you.

For me the thrill is in the detail . . . the detail of the surroundings, the very being (the scent, the smell) of the people my heroine encounters. The feel of the fabric of every piece of clothing. The touch, weight and proportion of the props and implements Jess is asked to endure.

And just like any adventurous journey there are many unexpected and surprising twists and turns, acts of treachery and betrayal, denial and fulfilment.

Yes, the thrill is in the detail . . . but the detail is not gratuitous not forced, it begs to be imagined, to be drawn and touched and felt by all of ones senses.
That is what sets “Knowing Her Place” and the previous two books apart from any other erotica I have read. It is that wonderful ability that Ms Jaybee seems to find so natural . . . every page seems to flow, to inspire, to stimulate . . . and excite.

If you’ve felt disappointment, or let-down . . . or unsatisfied . . . by any other erotica you have read, I challenge you to take Jess Sanders journey. I am sure your imagination will take a new and exciting journey of it’s own.

Transported by Sharazade – A Review

February 18  |  Book Publications, eBooks, Reviews  |   Kay Jaybee

I haven’t had time to do many reviews lately, what with finishing up The Perfect Submissive Trilogy and starting my latest Jenny Kane book, so I thought I’d pop back through my archive and remind you of a few books that are, in my opinion, just that little bit head and shoulders above the rest.

Today looking back at Transported by Sharazade.

This has been my favourite erotic anthology for some time- I just love this book…

transported1-1024x756

A Review of  ‘Transported- Erotic Travel Tales’ By Sharazade

I could easily make this the shortest review in history. I believe the word HOT sums things up nicely where this anthology is concerned.

Comprised of 9 individual tales, Transported centres it’s theme on various elements of the travel experience. Arrival lounges, trains, conferences away from home, and airport shops, form the backdrop for the sexual adventures within its tempting pages.

To me, an important factor in good erotic writing will always be a setting that is accessible to the audience’s imagination. If an author can combine everyday locations with scenarios’ that are sexy, interesting, and original, then you have excellent erotica on your hands. Transported achieves just that. Combine this with Sharazade’s ability to relate the stories within her anthology to all of her readers, not just to the studs and stud-esses out there, and you have a winning formula.

I am torn between telling you two much about each story, and not telling you anything. I could wax lyrical about each piece- the strongest for me being Flaws, and After Dinner Show.

I could identify with the woman in Flaws so well- her own fears and insecurities as to the imperfections of her body restrict her actions during sex; the way she lies, the way she stands; so that her lover is not put off by her perfectly normal physical flaws- right until she meets a very interesting man on a train ride- not to mention his friend…

After Dinner Show takes us to a sales conference in Alaska, where a cleverly engineered lack of chair space, forces one of the delegates to have his partner sit on his lap during a slide show. This may sound a little predictable- but trust me, it really isn’t. As the story takes us from a not-so-private finger sex session, to a delicious encounter back in their cabin, I swear I could almost feel the touch of the participant’s fingertips…

From Schiphol, where a woman meets her lover in an airport lounge in Amsterdam, to Layover, where the heroines need for her lover is simply too deep to bother with dressing properly, and she meets him at the airport, in nothing but a coat and her underwear,  Transported hits every base for me. Sharazade successfully takes popular desires, and turns them into crotch tingling tales, neatly side stepping the pitfalls of the cliché. This is truly an anthology that should not be missed from any eroticist’s collection.

Transported is for sale at various points including- Amazon UK, Amazon US, Smashwords, in print and in e-book format.

Happy reading
