Delivering Romance with Not Her Type

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Based on the theory that opposite attract, Not Her Type begins at the dawn of a seemingly impossible and unlikely alliance between Jenny (a ridiculously over-educated accountant, who hates reality TV, and always reads the book before seeing the film) and John (her courier, who has no education at all, and only reads if someone points a gun to his head).

Thrown together by an unexpectedly mutual lust, it is on their third meeting, during a mid-fuck sharing of fantasies, that Jenny confesses to John that, despite their extensive differences, they have something very important in common – they both (usually), prefer women.

…Jenny let out a strangled whine, as much from the sensation of being so wonderfully full as from the irritation of having to wait to hear about his dream. An accompanying moan almost simultaneously escaped from John, as she gripped her pelvic muscles around his cock, holding and releasing him over and over again until she couldn’t wait any longer. “You’ve always wanted to what?”

John grinned wickedly, but said no more as he grabbed Jenny’s waist with one hand, thrusting faster, and snaked his other hand down between her legs to massage her nub. Now it was Jenny’s turn to lose her focus. Her film courier could have told her anything at all, and she would have been totally oblivious to what he’d said, as vivid red and orange bubbles of colour burst inside her head.

Shaking with the astonishing intensity of her orgasm, Jenny held onto him tight, digging her fingers into the ink-scarred arms.

She felt the shudder of John’s body as he threw his head back and came inside her. Wiping tangled hair from Jenny’s eyes, John eased himself away from her glowing body. At last he spoke, “I’ve got this picture in my head. I simply can’t shift it.”

“A picture of…?”

“Of you, and me, and…” He paused again, as if trying to decide if he should go on.

Jenny’s pulse-rate hit epidemic proportions. What the hell could be so outlandish that he’s struggling to tell me? Does he think I’ll run a mile or throw him out the house or something? “And…?” It was increasingly difficult to keep the frustration from her voice.

He took an audibly deep breath, “Of you, and me, and another woman.”

It took all her effort not to laugh. All that hesitation for such a standard bloke’s fantasy. But rather than mock, Jenny began to visualize the scene he was suggesting. Is this something he wants us to fantasize about together? Or something he actually wants us to do for real? As she studied her new lover closely, a buzz of excitement rose within her. Is he serious?

“Well?” For the first time since she’d met John he had a trace of uncertainty in his tone, and his confident eyes dipped and failed to meet hers.

So, he is serious. Moving closer to his naked body, placing both her palms flat on his chest, Jenny whispered into his ear, “You find her and I’ll do it.”

Never would Jenny forget the stunned look on John’s face as he spluttered, “What? Really?”

“Sure,” a knot of exhilaration gathered in her chest, and Jenny trailed her fingers lower, lightly twisting the hairs on his chest together in small clumps. “Anyway, it wouldn’t exactly be my first time with a woman.”

“It wouldn’t?!”

“No honey. It wouldn’t.”

A self-confessed nightmare when it comes to relationships, John warns Jenny that he can’t offer her more than occasional sex- yet, there is something about his favourite customer that keeps John coming back again and again – not least because this girl is kinky and then some!! It seems there is nothing Jenny isn’t prepared to do for John- every fantasy he has ever had is suddenly waiting for him to explore…

Do they live happily ever after? Do Jenny and John walk off into the sunset dancing and singing as if they were in some sickly movie? As if I’m going to tell you that!!

A Perfect Submissive Style Reboot: Welcome to The Fifth Floor

Miss Jess Sanders is back…(and available in paperback and eBook)

Last September I celebrated my thirteenth year of writing erotica. After so long in the business, I decided it was time to give my existing work something of a reboot.

The world has moved on so much in the last decade that stories about DVD and video delivery men seem sadly out of touch. Not only has the technology around us upgraded, but the readership of erotica has shifted, expanded, and adjusted its outlook – and so, as a writer, I am duty bound to make a few tweaks accordingly.

Not too many changes have been made- my work still has to deliver what you’d expect it to- but a re-edit, a new look, and a general reboot was certainly required.

The challenge facing me is a large scale one. I have written over 200 erotic stories so far- that is one hell of a lot of re-editing! The place to start however, was obvious- The Perfect Submissive Trilogy. This bestselling and award winning- series of novels (plus it’s one off extra novella, The New Room), established me as a writer of all things kinky. I owe it a fresh lick of paint at the very least.

Due to a reformatting of the erotica publishing business, I have regained nearly all the rights to my work, and so, after much deliberation, I decided to publish my erotica myself – first via the download app Radish, and then as e-books and (or) paperbacks.

The first of my novels to make its way through the complete re-edit, recover, go one (and then off) Radish and e-book process is The Fifth Floor– the first novel in The Perfect Submissive Trilogy.

Blurb

Hidden behind the respectable façade of the Fables Hotel in Oxfordshire, five specially adapted rooms await visitors to the fifth floor.  Here, Mrs Peters is mistress of an adult entertainment facility pandering to the kinky requirements of its guests.  When she meets Jess Sanders, she recognises the young woman’s potential as a deliciously meek addition to her specialist staff.  All it will take is a little education.

Under the tutelage of dominatrix, Miss Sarah, Jess learns to cope with an erotically demanding training schedule and a truly sexy exercise regime. But will she come to terms with her new career?

Meanwhile, Mrs Peters is temporarily distracted from her intimidating rule over Fable’s fifth floor by artist, Sam Wheeler – who she believes can help her in her mission to transform Jess into the perfect submissive…

***

With a few expanded scenes, and a hot new look, The Fifth Floor is a novel that is very close to my heart. It was my first full length novel, and if it hadn’t had so much success, then the remainder of the trilogy would never have been written.

I hope you enjoy reading the story of Miss Jess Sanders, Miss Sarah, Mrs Peters and Sam Wheeler as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Excerpt from CASTAWAYS

“How is my galley?” Raul asked, pulling on a t-shirt, then settling back in his seat.

“All tidy.”

“You are too good to me, mi niña hermosa.”

“I try.”

Mason appeared on deck. “I suggest, Captain, that we shift a degree west, it will put us in line with a tiny crop of islands. Uninhabited, but it might be nice to see land on day three.”

“Good plan.” Harry nodded and looked down at the compass. He then turned the helm a fraction. “Can’t believe we’ll be on our third day tomorrow. We’ve made good progress.”

“Yeah, I agree,” Evan said, plucking a pack of cards from the pocket of his shorts. “Who’s up for poker?”

Si.” Raul rubbed his hands together and grinned.

“I’m game,” Mason said, sitting next to him. “What are we playing for?”

“Let’s make it strip poker.” Evan twitched his eyebrows at Olivia.

“I think not.” She laughed. “That would leave me at a definite disadvantage.”

“You call having five blokes admiring your body a disadvantage?” Evan chuckled. The sun had given his cheeks a faint pink hue and his lips were shiny, as if he’d slicked on balm.

Damn it, the guy could be an advert for healthy, outdoor living.

“Knowing you lot, you’d club together and fix it so I lost.” She narrowed her eyes at him.

“I wouldn’t.” Lucas shook his head.

It was the first time he’d spoken in front of everyone, but Olivia decided not to make a thing about that. “Okay, not Lucas, but the rest of you would.”

“I think it’s sad,” Raul said. “That you have so low opinion of us.”

“It’s not that.” She shrugged. “You’re just guys, with lots of testosterone and you like…” She glanced at her chest. “Boobs.”

“Boobs!” Evan burst out laughing. “Yeah, we like boobs.”

“What are boobs?” Raul asked.

“These.” She pointed at her breasts.

“Ah, boobs!” Raul grinned. “I learn another new English word.”

“I bet she could teach you some more.” Evan winked at her and dropped the deck of cards into his hand.

“Probably. But I won’t.”

Lucas took over the helm and Harry sat at the table, his elbows propped on it and leaning forward. “We play for who gets to take Olivia out on a date in Sydney.”

“Fine by me,” Mason said.

“But what if I don’t want to go on a date…with any of you.”

“Ah, you will.” Evan expertly shuffled the pack.

She frowned. “And what if I win? What do I get?”

“To choose who takes you out on a date.” Harry grinned. It was a cocky grin, as though he presumed it would be him she picked.

“What if I don’t want to go out with any of you?” How could she not? She looked around the table. Four guys, very different both physically and in personality, but each gorgeous, intelligent, witty and very eligible. Throw in sweet, sensitive Lucas who was also a lean, strong guy in the prime of his life and just waiting to be discovered, and most girls would be salivating at the thought of being able to take a pick. “No scrap that,” she said. “What if I can’t choose?”

“What because we’re all so hot it’s an impossible decision?” Harry asked.

“Well, I guess I’d have to go by personality, and thinking you’re hot might not be the best trait.”

“Hey.” He held up his hands. “I’m only saying what the gossip mags and my one million Twitter followers tell me.”

“One million Twitter followers?” Mason said. “Jeez, you really got that much to say?”

“No.” Harry shrugged and picked up his deal of cards. “But what can I do? They follow me, I don’t follow them.”

“I bet you get loads of girls desperate for you to notice them,” Olivia said. “All hoping to bag themselves a billionaire.”

“For the record, I’m not a billionaire, my father is.”

“And you’ll inherit it some day,” Mason pointed out.

“Some of it. I’ve got a sister remember. It’ll get halved.”

“But still be in the billions?” Evan said.

“I guess.” Harry looked away, a slight crease between his eyebrows.

For the first time Olivia wondered if he’d like to have grown up in a normal family, with a normal childhood. His must have been one of privilege and indulgence. How had that molded him into the man he was today? Did he regret not blending in with the crowd, or did it suit him to harness attention wherever he went?

She made a sudden decision to never treat him differently from the other crew, okay he was the captain, but other than that, he was just a guy whose father happened to be stinking rich.

And damn it, he was cute with it.

“Everyone know the rules?” Evan asked, turning his hand over.

“Aye,” Mason nodded.

Si. Very well.” Raul grinned as he looked at his cards.

Olivia looked at hers. Not great, but it would be a start.

They played for an hour and a half. There was much laughter, quite a few insults and possibly some cheating on Raul’s behalf.

Mason took a turn at the helm so Lucas could join in and he won his hand quickly.

“Last game,” Harry said. “It’s getting late.” He glanced at his watch.

“Ah, but I want to play all night,” Raul said. “I love to play poker. Better with rum but this is what it is.”

“Nah, last one.” Harry shrugged.

Olivia pulled her fleece up around her neck. It was getting chilly, she’d be glad to get to bed.

Her last deal of the pack was a great one, and within a minute she’d won.

“Bravo,” Mason said.

“Are you sure you’re not a hustler?” Evan asked.

“That’s for me to know and you to find out.” She grinned.

“You must have a prize,” Raul said.

“Okay.” She paused. “Kind as it is of you all to offer yourselves up for dates in Sydney, what I’d really like is…”

All five men looked at her. Lucas seemed to have held his breath, and Evan tugged on his bottom lip as if a whole bunch of wicked thoughts were going through his mind. Harry raised his eyebrows and Mason leaned closer.

“Tell us,” Raul said. “Anything we have, it is yours.”

“Did I see some hot chocolate in the galley?” she asked.

Si.” Raul nodded.

“That’s what I’d like as my prize. Then to bed….alone.”

All five men seemed to sag a little as they sat back. Lucas returned his attention to the helm.

“I will do it for you. I will get your prize.” Raul stood.

“Thank you.” She passed her cards to Evan who was stacking the pack together again.

Had any of the guys really thought she’d pick one of them as her prize? Was it so obvious she fancied them all?

Oh God.

 I do. I really do.

And I’d never be able to choose between them…

Delivering Romance with Kink- Not Her Type

I will let you into a secret- Not Her Type is a love story!!!

Shush…don’t tell anyone. Kay Jaybee- writing a love story!! My reputation as a producer of bondage smut will be forever dented!!

Fear not however, for throughout the c.28,000 words of this novella, S&M sits hand in glove with the underlying romantic streak. For this is a love story that neither Jenny nor John see coming- or indeed wanted- at first at least…

Time Tracking with Samantha Winston

I’m delighted to be joined by Samantha Winston. She is with me today to share a little from her latest erotic adventure Time Tracking.

Over to you Samantha…

Hi Kay, and thank you for having me as a guest blogger! I’m really pleased to be here today to talk about my favourite thing : (well, favourite thing besides chocolate!) time-travel!

What would happen if a man from the past were brought to life in the present – a man frozen for centuries..? That’s what happens when Kell’s body is found in the Arctic, sold to the US Army, and reanimated in an ultra-secret base in Alaska (that everyone knows about).  In order to communicate, the army hires Allie, an expert in ancient languages. But the scientists don’t want Kell as an anthropological case – they want to study his brain and body for cryogenics. Not good news for Kell, who is basically a prisoner about to be executed. Allie decides to save him, and they set out in the Arctic with nothing but some high-tech snowsuits (thank you, US Army corps) and Kell’s knowledge of survival in the wilderness.

In the second part of the book, Bruce Steele, a tracker, wakes up in the far future. He’s been reanimated on a space station, somewhere in the Hera Galaxy. He’s alone – except for a very sexy, extremely pedantic android who is supposed to teach him all about modern society – except how can he concentrate with a raging hard-on? Apparently, when you’ve been frozen and thawed out – your extremities tingle…the scientists will be fascinated with that bit of info. Until then, Steele, a game tracker,  has to find a niche in an ultra-sophisticated technological world!

Time travel has always been my favourite subject – The Road to Alexander, published by Accent Press, is about a woman sent back to ancient Greece to interview Alexander the Great. So when I read about a man found in a glacier, and nearly intact, my mind started buzzing. Wouldn’t it be incredible to have him wake up and tell us about his life in the past? But how could he communicate? And from there, I imagined the story of Kell and Allie. But because I grew fond of the man tracking them, Bruce Steele, I made a story just for him, where he’s flung into the future and has to face the same sort of culture-shock Kell, the man from the Iron Age, did.

Excerpt:
Kell sat still, his eyes taking in her every move. As before, some things seemed familiar, while others made no sense. The brazier had a collapsible tube that fit into a hole in the tent. That made sense since smoke was a problem for tents. This brazier was made of white metal and stood on three sturdy legs. All that he had seen before. But this brazier had another, smaller tube that ran from the brazier to a small blue jug. The jug had a handle that turned, and a blue flame sprang from the top of the brazier so suddenly that Kell flinched.
Allie turned and patted his arm. “I’m sorry. All this must seem so strange to you.”
He closed his eyes. Strange was not the word. Everything he had known had become twisted and bizarre. Familiar things had mutated into frightening machines. Even horses had turned into rumbling machines that belched stinking fog and had one bright eye. No, that was untrue. He knew what was machine and what was alive. His world had its share of machines, but none that ran by themselves. A shiver ran over his body. Blindly, he put out his hand toward the warmth of the brazier. Fire still gave warmth.
His hand brushed against soft skin and he froze. Eyes still closed, he ran his fingertips over Allie’s brow, over her cheeks and across her jaw. He drew a line with his fingers, following her neck to where her pulse beat strongly. She caught his hand in hers, holding it tightly. Pulling her to him, he pressed his lips to the soft skin on her temple. Her curly hair tickled his face, but he didn’t open his eyes.
The feel of a woman…that hadn’t changed. The scent and taste of women hadn’t changed. A deep sigh escaped him as warmth crept into his bones. Soft and sweet, and strong and brave. “Allie,” he whispered. The tent leaned, buffeted by the wind, but the brazier warmed the air, and he opened his eyes to stare at the woman who had saved him from the prison.
“What is it?” Her big brown eyes were questioning. Her lashes cast jagged shadows on her cheeks.
“Thank you.” He slipped his hand behind her neck and pulled her to him.
A little hesitantly, she put her arms around his shoulders. “You’ve got such broad shoulders,” she said, a catch in her voice.
He tugged at her chemise and lifted it over her head, then stopped, perplexed. He had seen brassieres like hers in Rome, but they’d been made of knitted wool. This one was made of silk that stretched like a supple skin. She took it off, a smile curving her lips. Then she stood and slipped off her pants.
In the pale, blue light of the brazier, her skin took on the glow of polished marble. “You look like the statue of a nymph.” He got to his knees and cupped her buttocks in his hands. Holding her tightly, he pressed his face to her sex, letting the smell and feel of her soothe his shattered nerves.
